1. Definitions

“Site” means the pages at vertexvest.net, including the research notes. “We” means the editorial team that publishes the site. “You” means the person reading or writing to us. A “note” is an educational article. Nothing in these definitions creates a client relationship.

2. Educational nature

The site provides educational courses and explanations about financial literacy and market concepts. It does not provide financial advice, trading services, portfolio management, or a personal recommendation. It does not sell securities or any other financial product. Content is general. It is not prepared for your circumstances.

You are responsible for your own decisions. If you need advice about a decision, speak with a person who is permitted to give it. This site is not that person.

3. Acceptable use

You may read the pages and share links to them. You may not scrape the site in a way that degrades it, misrepresent a page as personal advice, or attempt to break the form or the host. You may not upload unlawful material through the contact form.

4. Intellectual property

The text, diagrams, and the vertex mark are part of the site. You may quote a short passage with a link to the page. You may not copy the site into another product and present it as your own course, and you may not remove the educational limits from a quotation so that it reads as a recommendation.

5. Liability and risk

Financial decisions can lead to loss. Markets can fall. Liquidity can fail. Descriptions of how ideas work are not promises about outcomes. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for decisions you make after reading the site, or for interruptions in access. Some rights cannot be excluded under the laws of Ontario and Canada, and those rights remain.

6. Business model

Our revenue comes from advertising and educational content. Educational content is provided free of charge. We do not receive commissions for recommending investment products. The site does not sell financial products and does not provide trading services. Advertising, where it exists, is not a recommendation of the advertiser’s product.

7. Applicable law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Courts in Toronto, Ontario, are the place where disputes are to be brought, unless a non-waivable consumer right says otherwise.
